About me

I’ve always been drawn to wide open spaces, the ocean, and the feeling you get when life goes quiet for a moment. What started as a love of photography slowly became something more, a way of slowing down, noticing things more deeply, and finding perspective in a world that often feels too busy.

A lot of my work begins early in the morning, flying a drone above the coastline, watching light move across the water, or capturing moments in nature that remind me how small and connected we really are. I’m especially drawn to the ocean and wildlife; humpback whales, empty beaches, changing tides, and landscapes that make you stop thinking for a second and simply take it all in.

Over time, I realised the photography and the writing I was doing were really about the same thing. Both are attempts to capture perspective, calm, clarity, and the quieter parts of life that are easy to miss. That eventually led me to writing wellbeing books and reflections focused on growth, mindfulness, simplicity, and finding meaning in everyday moments.

I don’t see my work as just photography or just writing. For me, it’s all connected. It’s about creating things that make people pause, breathe, feel inspired, or maybe just slow down long enough to notice the beauty that’s already around them.

If my work does anything, I hope it reminds people that life doesn’t always need more noise, more pressure, or more distraction. Sometimes we just need perspective.
